You arrive into the Wa.
Not a reception desk — a lounge. Warm oak, low golden light, the smell of something good. Check in from your phone on the way, drop your bag, and decide whether tonight is a conversation or a book. Both are correct.
You retreat into the Ma.
A corridor of capsules, each one a charcoal shell with a single amber aperture. Yours is sealed to a documented acoustic standard, ventilated with its own fresh air, lit on a dimmer that knows the difference between reading and sleeping. Close the panel and the building goes quiet.
You restore in the Misogi.
A bathing room finished in sage zellige and raw concrete, treated like the ritual it is rather than the afterthought it usually becomes. You wake, you wash, you walk back out into the lounge as the morning light arrives — and the city is already at the door.
